Front Office Trainee

Your responsibilities will be:- To welcome guests of the hotel in offering an efficient, friendly and polite check-in.- To explain all the hotel facilities/services.- To handle departures in accordance with hotel procedures and billing instructionsTo deal with guests’ enquiries.- To deal with any internal enquiries (Housekeeping, F&B, MOD).- To answer the phone using the internal telephone etiquette.- To assist and participate in the in-house-company promotions and facilities as required.- To be aware of all room types of the hotel and facilities in the room.- To be aware of the availability of all types of accommodations and to sell in order to achieve a maximum of revenue and to promote in-house promotion/facilities.- To assist in room allocation according to the guests’ requests.- To ensure charges, credit card payment, deposits and any other guest transactions are recorded properly on the guests’ account-checking.- To verify signatures as established by the Hotel Credit Policy.- To help our team reach 100% guest satisfaction. - To be bilingual in English, have at least an intermediate level in French and a third language is a plus!- Effective communication skills & organizational skills.- Computer and Microsoft office SkillsBeing enthusiastic, a ‘people person’ and ready to be part of a great team.
