Junior Learning + Development Executive
Your role We are looking for someone to join us on a 3 month contract, the a possibility to extend or go permanent. Our Delivery Development team is located in Manchester and Ghent (BEL). The teams empowers our client delivery teams around the globe to deliver a consistently high level of research quality and to increase operational excellence. Our 5 strong team do this by: Reviewing the quality of our client deliverables, identifying areas for improvement and training. Delivering training in a range of creative formats. Developing best practice processes, research solutions and resources on our internal learning ecosystem. Supporting corporate projects and initiatives that deliver positive business change. As Junior Learning + Development Executive, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Learning and Development manager with the creation and management of business critical and non-critical training (becoming an expert on the internal and external platforms used to do this). You’ll also support the team with a range of actions and initiatives to drive forward the quality of our delivery. Your responsibilities What you'll do Become an expert at creating interactive and engaging training, in particular the online external programmes we use. You’ll co-ordinate training activities to ensure our people know what training they need to do, when and how. You build experience of managing the InSites Academy learning management system, which is our internal home for all our training content. You’ll be the champion of the platform for new starters and you’ll harness the statistical power of the platform (e.g. attendance, impact and satisfaction). Support the L&D manager creating action learning activities that supports individuals and their coaches to embed training. With support from the L&D manager, own an innovative and creative training programme designed to inspire colleagues on a range of subjects. Support with the process of identifying training needs and brainstorming learning solutions Your profile What you'll bring We are looking for someone who wants to get experience of the Learning & Development / HR / project management roles, who is passionate about helping people grow and fulfil their potential. You need to be a strong time and project manager, who can own projects, focus on the detail (we are a quality team after all :) ) whilst juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Someone who feels comfortable in group video calls, asking questions and sharing their opinions (e.g. during brainstorms). Comfortable exploring creative ways in their work and communication (visual, written and spoken). Why this is(n't) for you Connecting with people comes naturally to you. You are uncomfortable with tech such as the Microsoft suite, in particular Powerpoint and Excel (and other online packages). You struggle to deal with change and the fast paced nature of a business.
