WHO YOU ARE Candidate profile - Default language As a People & Culture manager:- You are a real people person with a solid believe in the potential of every individual- You see the co-worker experience as a challenge that can be constantly improved - You are strong in tactical and operational thinking, where you are strong in finding a balance- You know how to secure the long term objectives based on fixed budgets and goals- You have a solid knowledge about the rights & obligations of the co-workers and the employer, how to maintain/improve the relationships between co-workers, unions and relevant stakeholders- You know how to monitor the co-workers performance linked to individual – and organizational goals, how to identify new opportunities and how to evaluate, stimulate and secure them- You know how to let co-workers evolve and develop together with IKEA, the team and the job in an effective way - You secure the staffing of key functions in your unit by anticipating and developing successors in an active way by actively identifying potentials, a secure follow-up and by creating a stimulating environment for them to develop - You have a good knowledge of the different leadership styles that can support you and your stakeholders in finding solutions for a variety of challenges Key responsibilities YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities (text) As a People & Culture manager you will: - Act as a business partner for the Market Unit Manager, contribute to the local management team of your unit and lead the People & Culture team for the local implementation of the people strategies in an efficient way- Secure a work environment where the IKEA culture & values are real and visible in everything we do- Act as a P&C business partner to all the other managers in your unit about people related cases - Lead and develop the P&C-team of your unit to offer a solid co-worker experience- Secure that the People strategy, the international principles/guidelines (implemented by the country People & Culture team) and the relevant business plans are being implemented - Influence the local management teams to continuously develop their leadership capabilities according their own development needs and those of the business - Facilitate in trainings on unit level, in close contact with your P&C Generalist and the Market Area Learning Delivery Specialist- Be responsible, in close collaboration with the department Business Navigation, to secure a solid staff planning in the unit according the business needs and preferences of the co-workers. - Lead by example by actively carry out the IKEA values, this internally and externally, to secure the IKEA culture in your unit- Secure a strong employer communication flow that is consistent and build on the fundamentals of the IKEA brand- Be responsible, together with the Market Unit Manager, to secure a solid and up-to-date succession planning in your unit with a high focus on talents, potentials and high performing co-workers - Will act in a leading role for the implementation of a co-worker relations plan that secures an efficient way of communication with co-workers and that secures that the unit always acts according the agreements/procedures created with local stakeholders and the binding labor laws.
